About the team The Research Operations team sitswithin a multidisciplinary team of researchers, Zillow Research& Insights (ZRI), which includes Customer and Partner InsightsStrategists, UX Researchers, Behavioral Scientists, and PopulationScientists. We all play a significant role within the greaterproduct and marketing organizations. ZRI sits within ZillowExperience Design (ZxD), a fast-paced, collaborative, and drivenproduct design team. We build useful, usable, and innovativeexperiences for Zillow customers. About the role The Senior Research Operations ProgramManager will develop and be responsible for researcher enablementprograms, helping everyone on the team do the best work of theircareers through impact, scale, and efficiencies.This role worksclosely with research, design, product management, marketing,engineering, and data science. You will spend the majority of yourtime completing operational tasks while supporting the evolutionand growth of the Research Ops function at Zillow. Some key areasthat this role will focus on: - Recruiting Center of Excellence:Establish and lead participant sourcing processes acrossparticipant profiles and qualitative and quantitative methods witha focus on researcher efficiency (and alignment with compliancerequirements) - User List Management: Develop, implement,



and ownuser list processes across Zillow Research + Insights inpartnership with Data Science and Marketing Operations; driveadoption, establish feedback loops, continuous process iteration,and resolve challenges - Panel Management: Consolidate and managetwo B2B partner research participant panels - Metrics: Trackhealth/utility of different recruiting methods, all-up recordkeeping of studies completed, participants recruited, etc. - ToolManagement: Manage ZRI’s research tool suite, including access anduse administration, maintenance of best practices documentation,and tooling strategy - Operational Excellence: Supportoperationalizing the mission and principles of the Research &Insights; team; project manage special initiatives and work groupsTo be successful in this role, you’ll need a good balance ofstrategy and tactical execution,



sharp communication skills and theability to collaborate widely across the business. You will get to:- Lead the portfolio of researcher enablement programs. -Collaborate with ZRI ICs, leadership, and key collaborators toalign recruiting efforts with Zillow Group’s evolving needs -Partner with research operations leadership to set team goals,roadmaps, and best utilize team resources - Engage, partner, andcollaborate with team members and leadership to proactively uncoveropportunities to radically improve the effectiveness of ourresearch team and processes - Create, socialize, and maintainrepeatable processes for research (e.g. communications, templates,etc.) - Own systems for project documentation, status tracking, andreporting to ensure stakeholders and team members are involved atthe right times, understand project timelines, and follow throughon their commitments - Build and maintain a trusted,



cooperativerelationship with cross-functional partners - Apply strategictools, systems, and data to help the team analyze trends anddeliver insights to define goals and improve processes - Own andfacilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives,and establish clear next steps and owners while resolving blocksthat impede progress - Report out on the top-level achievements andimpact of programs you manage This role has been categorized as aRemote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanentcorporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physicallocation of their choice which must be identified to the Company.This role requires travel ~4-6 weeks per year. This role has beencategorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have apermanent corporate office workplace and, instead,



work from aphysical location of their choice which must be identified to theCompany. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferablyin Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasionalin-office events. Who you areYou are an experienced Research Operations program manager whoenjoys creating cohesion amongst the team, developing trust withpartners, and driving systemic collaboration improvements at scale.You are a great collaborator and communicator and understand thatthe path to exceptional customer experiences is through greatpartnerships with cross-functional teams.



You have… - Consistenttrack record of breaking down processes and identifying challengesto deliver business improvements - Ability to get into the details,manage multiple complex projects at once, and roll up your sleevesand do hands on work - Demonstrated experience moving initiativesforward, finding resources, raising concerns to appropriate ownersearly and resolving open issues that prevent progress - Strong timemanagement, organization, and prioritization skills - Strong senseof ownership and drive - Experience in anticipating and makingtrade-offs, balancing the business need while building greatcustomer experiences - Experience: - 4+ years of experience inresearch operations program management - 3+ years of experienceworking with research team(s) (e.g. UX Research, Market Research) -Experience recruiting participants for research studies frominternal user lists, internal panels,



and third party sample -Setting up and maintaining internal recruiting panels - Proventrack record of collaborating with cross-functional groups toproduce results - Experience with operational routines and themanagement of internal-facing project teams - Skills: - Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal - Ability tofacilitate discussions and engage with business and researchmanagers in an enterprise environment. - Proficiency in developingand managing metrics to measure recruiting program success. -Ability to see opportunities for process improvements and addressthem to increase efficiency - Can hold the line when schedule orprogress is in jeopardy while maintaining respectful relationships- Effectively prioritize competing needs by providing clearreasoning and proposing practical solutions - Attributes:



Strongproblem-solving skills with a focus on collaboration, and abilityto thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
