**About the role**:
- Lead and perform design activities like best practice audits, user research, data analytics, usability tests,
experience mapping, sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and concept validation.
Run and participate in design thinking workshops.
- Employ a holistic approach to design, considering desirability, feasibility, and viability to create innovative and user-centered solutions.
- Organize and structure product wide content, information, and functionality in a way that is logical and intuitive for users and matches their mental model.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive set of design principles to ensure that user experience remains consistent and impactful across all our product offerings.
- Be a strategic partner to cross-functional peers in defining product direction and developing the product roadmap.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across different teams and departments to ensure alignment.
- Ensure the design team is brought in early enough.
Negotiate and prioritize to have the most effective allocations of design resources.
- Develop your team's expertise in their craft and support their growth.
Provide supervision to the team members by coordinating activities, checking on quality and work progress.
- Implement and improve design and feedback processes to help scale the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape experience vision for medium to long-term product problems.
Translate high-level vision and strategic objectives into tangible projects and initiatives.
Communicate design direction and strategy throughout the organization.
Guide designers to achieve the high-level experience vision and strategic objectives.
- Advocate and evangelize design tools, methodologies, and practices among non-designers.
