#WelcomeToCognizant!We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a **Service Delivery Manager**We are looking for a passionate and experienced Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to lead a team of Project Managers (PMs) within our program that provides PMs as a service.
As a Pod Lead,



you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality project outcomes while fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for your team.
**Responsibilities**Team Leadership & Development:- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for assigned PMs.- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that promotes learning and development.- Identify and implement opportunities for skill development within your team.Project Management & Delivery:- Partner with your team to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality project deliverables, adhering to client-approved guidelines.- Guide the team in tracking, measuring, and reporting project metrics effectively.- Facilitate regular review meetings with stakeholders for project health evaluation and data validation.Client Relationship Management:- Collaborate with the Regional Leader in onboarding new clients and ensuring a smooth client experience.- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders by providing clear communication and updates.- Proactively address client concerns and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.Process Improvement:- Identify areas for process improvement within the Center of Excellence (CoE).- Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and enhance team efficiency.- Maintain a knowledge hub for CoE project management resources and training materials.Operational Excellence:- Lead your team in creating skills inventories and assessments to optimize resource allocation.- Ensure new PMs are well-prepared for client interactions by providing onboarding support and training.- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the team, promoting best practices.
**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree (mandatory).- PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum, or SAFe certification (preferred).- 10+ years of experience managing project/product life cycles (mandatory).- Proven experience in managing direct reports and fostering employee engagement (mandatory).- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with exposure to technology (preferred).- Excellent written and spoken English.
CEFR C1 level minimum.- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
