innovative approach and proprietary algorithms and tools ensure optimal operations design and material and information flow.Responsibilities:Develop an understanding for the specific mechanical engineering requirements per projectStudy and become familiar with the elementary system drawingsProvide technical interface with customer's project representative(s)Project scope definitions3D model reviewsEquipment and/or installation issuesContract and execute mechanical change ordersMentor and navigate issues with less experienced Project EngineersDevelop, maintain, and assist with creating a mechanical engineering schedule that provides timely delivery of material to fully support an installation schedule.Provide extensive technical support for Project Engineers, vendors, field installation personnel, and engineering sub-contractors as related to inquiriesRelease drawings for installation and fabricationCommunicate status updates to engineering management on a regular cadenceCheck drawings provided by mechanical designers for accuracy and provide feedback for corrections as needed.Perform or assist in directing engineering analysis as determined by project needs in disciplines including structural, mechanical power transmission and fluid power.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Efficient in a schedule driven environmentComplete detail-oriented work producing well above average resultsGood interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skillsAbility to multi-task and work on multiple projects and process improvements at onceExperience with Microsoft Office,
such as Outlook and Excel are requiredFamiliar with AutoCAD and Inventor, Navisworks, and BIM is a plusExperience with power transmission equipment and steel fabrication is a plusEducation and Experience:Six to ten years of material handling equipment experience preferably within the conveyor systems industryBachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering and designTravel Requirements:Some domestic travel required +/- 10%.
