.Are you an experienced passionate leader driving growth, profitability, creating strategic growth plans, developing teams and natural problem solver?At Sensient, we are looking to welcome a Sales Director for our Food Colors LatAm business, to be a key part of our management team and to lead LatAm Sales and Marketing team, to a chieve planned profit, strategic goals and exceed sales objectives.
**Please note this role is based in LatAm HQ at Mexico, Lerma de Villada - Mexico estate (40 minutes from CDMX) with frequent regional travel across Mexico and LatAm (60%).What is thrilling about this role?You will drive impact in salesUnderstand the market landscape, identify growth opportunities, new customer prospects, key market segments,
customers, market dynamics, trends, opportunities, gaps, and timelines.Develop and execute LatAm BU strategy, account business plans that outline customer strategies, requirements, sales forecasts, and customer satisfaction thresholds for accounts.Implement comprehensive business development plans for the market and provide leadership in development of business plans and new product development programs to support the overall strategic plan for the business unit.In order to do so, we need you to bring a successfully career in sales, a deep business understanding in a manufacturing environment (food ingredients preferred), as well as a strong financial and customer focused mindset.You will be a leaderDevelop and mentor a highly professional, talented, and winning Sales team by ensuring proper engagement, training, as well as execution and accountability.Ensure proper staff levels and succession plans are in place to ensure long-term health of the team members in the business unit.In order to do so, we need your solid experience managing regional and remote teams,
strong communication, leadership and drive to build and support a high performing team.You will collaborate and work cross-functionallyCollaborate and work closely with all departments and peer directors in Technical, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QC/QA, Continues Improvement & Finance.
This will be in order to identify key market segments, customers, market dynamics, trends, opportunities, gaps, and timelines; provide superior services to customers and prospects; deliver overall business targets.In order to do so, we need you to be a team player, creative, flexible, and bring your ability to problem solving, to be enterprising,
and to comprehend the breadth of the corporation's development and growth.You will boost marketingIdentify and develop marketing programs collaboratively with Marketing/R&D; to enable Account Managers within assigned business unit to engage and present concepts to customers in order to grow and maintain a customer innovation project pipeline that will deliver expected growth.Direct and manage pricing and price increase initiatives to meet gross profit objectives
