**The **Opportunity**:The Senior Graphic Designer is a pivotal role within the In-House Agency at Avantor, a Fortune 500 global organization.
The In-House Agency is tasked with developing and executing strategic, high-impact creative solutions for a global internal and external client base, ensuring alignment with Avantor's brand vision and business objectives.The Senior Graphic Designer, reporting directly to the Art Director, operates as a strategic leader and design expert within the global team.
This role demands an individual with a strong strategic mindset, the ability to drive design thinking into business strategies, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.
The Senior Graphic Designer collaborates closely with the Creative Director, Art Director, and other senior leaders, contributing to the overall creative direction and strategy of the In-House Agency.
**KEY STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:**Strategic Design Leadership**: Serve as a design leader within the In-House Agency and lead the creative direction of major campaigns.
Partner with the Art Director to shape the visual identity and ensure consistency across all media.
**Design Strategy and Execution**: Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's business goals.
Work closely with project managers and senior leadership to translate complex business strategies into visually compelling creative solutions that drive business impact.
**Client and Stakeholder Engagement**: Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders and clients, ensuring a deep understanding of project goals, and leading the presentation of creative concepts.
Provide thought leadership in design, offering strategic insights that align with the client's business objectives.
**Innovation and AI Integration**:
Lead the research and integration of emerging design trends, technologies, and AI tools to push the boundaries of creative excellence.
Drive innovation within the design team, ensuring that Avantor remains at the forefront of industry developments.
**Brand Stewardship**: Uphold and evolve the Avantor brand identity, ensuring all creative outputs are aligned with brand guidelines while also pushing the creative envelope.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions are integrated into broader marketing strategies.
Guide and mentoring junior designers to ensure brand guidelines are adhered to in all department work.
**Resource Management and Optimization**: Oversee the efficient management of design resources,
ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Provide strategic guidance on the allocation of design resources to maximize team productivity and output
