We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Compliance Advisory Analyst**
HSBC is an extremely diverse business with significant geographical spread and activities that span a universal banking model,
including continuing to innovate to keep abreast of changes in financial services markets globally.
Such activity is in an increasingly regulated and complex global environment with often little consistency between laws and regulations in different jurisdictions and regulators taking a far more proactive approach in ensuring local compliance with their requirements and imposing increasingly stringent sanctions for breaches.
The COMPLIANCE ADVISORY GSC team is a crucial part of the Compliance Advisory strategy, and, as a member of that team, this role will support the Compliance Advisory team and HSBC businesses in the following areas (not limited to): Marketing Material, Cross Border travel & business activities, Conduct, Outsourcing, Registration & Licensing etc.Team helps the business deliver and maintain sustainable growth with customers we know and trust by supporting the embedding of a robust risk management culture.
COMPLIANCE ADVISORY does this by providing advice,
and risk stewardship to help ensure the business complies with the letter and spirit of relevant regulations to deliver fair outcomes for customers
**Requirements**:
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in law, economics, accountancy or similar field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to support decisions with sound reasoning and clearly articulated justifications.
- Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to think laterally and solve problems.
- Understanding or experience working with retail, wealth, insurance, or asset management products and services
- Knowledge or experience in risk management or Advisory compliance an asset.
- Working in a major financial institution, within a matrix environment, including reporting internationally.
- High level of professional and personal integrity.
- Proficiency in English language
