Our global procurement team is our biggest asset and by focusing on clear priorities, we drive tangible value for our colleagues.Job Purpose:Execute and ensure procurement processes and activities in the Purchasing Center.
Collaborate within the team in a range of activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services on terms that are in the organization's best interest.Your main tasks will be:- Processing purchase requests, ensuring mandatory information is included- Actively drive the use of procurement catalogs- Daily support and process the requirements/orders in the ordering system (e-tool)- Communication with business requestors, ensuring the request is properly specified and documented- Searching for new suppliers and communication with existing suppliers- Matching purchase requests with existing contracts and preferred vendors- Ask for competitive bids (according to the purchase policy)
