Job Overview:
The Business Analyst at TubeScience will be instrumental in driving project success through
effective requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and ensuring high-quality
deliverables.
This position reports to the Chief Data Officer and will play a key role in the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that project specifications are accurately
documented and agreed upon by all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand and document
business needs.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure clear communication, understanding, and
alignment throughout the SDLC.
- Obtain formal sign-off on requirements and project stages from stakeholders, ensuring
clarity and agreement.
- Manage and prioritize stakeholder expectations, resolving conflicts and ensuring project
alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the quality control process, ensuring that deliverables meet the agreed
specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements,
project plans, progress reports, and final deliverables.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure that all aspects of the project are compatible
with the documented requirements.
- Implement and maintain project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact
timelines or quality.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management on project status and
any potential risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology,
or a related field.
- years of experience in a business analyst or similar role, preferably in a
technology-driven environment.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and
project management.
Strong understanding of the SDLC and quality control processes.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills (optional):
- Certification in business analysis or project management (e.g., CBAP, PMP).
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
