Currently we are looking for our next: Procurement Senior Coordinator
**Which is the main objective of this role?
**
The
**_Global Procurement Coordinator _**will lead MRO Logistic Materials & Pallets Latam agenda to design, execute and implement the sourcing strategies.
This role will have the opportunity to actively lead the development and execution of tactics to drive quality, cost and service improvements.
Will also be key agent to identify synergies and best practices to harmonize and leverage along LATAM to deliver GP targets as productivity, cash flow and sustainability.
Qualifications:
**What will you be doing?
**
This position is responsible of MAKE - MRO Terciary Packaging & other subcategories Procurement process for LATAM sector including Pallets, films, EPPs, Logistics, among others, managing a total spend of 36MM USD(aprox).
This position will have to deliver results to the company in terms of Productivity, Cash Flow, Contract Execution, Category Strategy, Negotiation Strategy, Compliance, CAPEX and OPEX execution.
It is also expected to challenge our vendors to turn to more Sustainable practices and products, to be aligned with PEP+ objectives, and to introduce innovation and transformation to the categories owned.
- Develop and deliver the strategic procurement plan and delivery through proficient knowledge of the Sourcing Strategy (8 steps) with key focus to the categories owned
- Accountable for sourcing defined Categories collaboratively aligning with stakeholders at early stage of the 8 Step process, providing analysis, sourcing, negotiating, contract and supplier management to ensure productivity benefits.
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Ensuring monthly calculation and reporting of productivity.
- Strong level of maturity and stakeholder communications skills required within the business.
It is required to deliver strategic support to bring significant change in the categories.
- Work with suppliers to identify the best procurement tactics across the region.
- Ensure Procurement Internal controls, Risk Management, and supplier relationship and contracts comply.
- Effective communication with Stakeholders and colleagues within the LATAM and global teams.
- Work closely with finance and stakeholders to ensure alignment in productivity initiatives.
- Deliver strong analytics capability within categories working together with the stakeholder understand business needs and guide them to the most appropriate strategy, services tactics and suppliers.
- Assist stakeholders on the Purchase to Pay processes
- Comply with PepsiCo´s procurement policy and procedures to assure an effective auditing requirements.
Work with Suppliers to ensure risk mitigation and compliance
- Facilitate approvals/sign off from appropriate parties, management, Legal, Finance to ensure agreement before assigning any given project.
- Develop the sustainability agenda for Software aligned to global guidance.
- Collaborate with Bottlers to identify savings as well as process improvement opportunities.
**Who are we looking for?
**
- Excellent Functional knowledge (+5 years in category management /procurement roles): depth in facilities/service category management processes and tools and other related categories in complex environment is desired, preferably within Food & Beverage industry.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Engineering, Administration, Economics,
Industrial Engineering.
- Sound knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and procurement best practices, with experience of implementing them in a global environment
- Ability to build relationships and influence across a matrix organization
- Strong grasp of general business economics & key cost & quality drivers
- Strong analytical & financial skills.
- Experience with Ariba (RFPs, RFIs, e-auctions) and SAP is a plus
- Political & commercial savvy
- Results and action orientated - comfortable setting and delivering against bold, stretch targets
- Excellent language skills - Spanish and English essential, both verbal and in writing.
Portuguese desirable.
