.Job Title: Supply Chain SpecialistSummaryThe Supply Chain Specialist (SCS) will be responsible for analysis and report generation of all invoicing related information flowing through ProTrans Transportation Management System.
The SCS handles transactional level work on the account.
The SCS will work closely with the Supply Chain Management, Accounting, and Operational teams.
The SCS will be held responsible for ensuring all issues related to invoicing are resolved quickly.
The SCS will play a key role in achieving ProTrans financial objectives and contribute significantly to the bottom line and the overall success of the account.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following.
Other duties may be assigned.Job Description/ResponsibilitiesPerfect Shipment/Load/ASNResponsible for fully understanding the Not Ready to Invoice Report.Clean up any activity 2 days or older that is in a status of Not Ready to Invoice.Work with the ProTrans SCM team to get shipments that need to be cancelled/no charged into the appropriate status.Work with the SCM and Accounting (AP) teams to secure paperwork for any shipments missing paperwork.Work with Engineering to secure rates for shipments not pulling rates.Create ASN's.Create Loads.Main point of contact for any issues/items related to the above.Validation ReportResponsible for fully understanding the Validation Report.Review errors and develop a plan to fix them in our TMS or make the necessary changes on the validation report.Work with the SCM's, Accounting, Engineering, and Ops to get the necessary information to resolve the errors.Reconcile report on a weekly basis to ensure we have a status for every single bordero that we have sent through EDI.Main point of contact for any issues/items related to the above.Manual InvoicingResponsible for fully understanding the Manual Invoicing Process.Put together invoice packets per the manual invoicing process.Communicate open items to the appropriate teams internally to resolve any open items that are preventing us from invoicing.Main point of contact for any issues/items related to the above.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
