and growth-oriented environment where your work directly impacts guest experiences and company success, HomeHop is the place to be!Operations and Maintenance EngineerThe Operations and Maintenance Lead will oversee and coordinate maintenance-related tasks while taking on additional operational responsibilities to support the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer.
This individual will be instrumental in organizing and delegating tasks, ensuring smooth operations during weekends and beyond.
Our goal is to coach and develop this individual into a remote assistant general manager capable of driving efficiency and supporting the scalability of the business.ResponsibilitiesLead the scheduling, delegation, and management of maintenance tasks.Work with contractors and service providers to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.Document and track maintenance requests, ensuring timely completion and resolution.Assist with other operational tasks as assigned by the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer.Collaborate on strategies to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.Leverage basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing,
and electrical systems to facilitate informed communication with contractors.Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues and implement preventive measures.Work closely with the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer to align on priorities.Take ownership of delegated responsibilities, providing regular updates and feedback.Ensure operational coverage during weekends (two weekends and two weekdays per week).QualificationsProven experience in maintenance coordination or similar roles.Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems (expert-level knowledge not required).Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent organizational and delegation abilities.Proactive problem-solver with the ability to adapt to changing needs.Experience with remote work and property management software (preferred).College degree in a related field (Facilities Management, Engineering, or Business) is preferred but not required.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
