We are actively seeking a **Jr. UI Software Engineer**.
This is remote position that is based in Mexico.
**Position Summary**

He/she will collaborate with all levels of **client** and internal IT staff, while demonstrating effective written and oral communication skills, deep analytical skills, technical expertise, solution orientation, strategic thinking, the ability to establish rapport at all levels of the organization, and the ability to drive consensus.
Focus will be on technical sales support and retention of existing clients by solving issues related to infrastructure.




This position likely will require travel averaging 50% of working time.
However, travel could be more or less as required and necessary to successfully carry out work assignments

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Evaluates and guides scalable, testable, and reliable architecture and subsequent development of a project
- Espouses the benefits of CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery) and assists product teams in implementing and maintaining those tools
- Coordinates with product and project management to provide an understanding of the technical feasibility of new roadmap items
- Identifies and corrects ineffective or missing processes or tools which may be a hindrance to project execution
- Works with Test Engineering to create comprehensive automated testing suites
- Works with Sr.




Engineers to architect best-in-class solutions
- Proactively identifies risks, communicates them clearly to the team and to Dexcom stakeholders, and helps plan for success through mitigation options
- Technical voice for communications with Apple, Google, and other third parties
- Staying abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends to serve the interests and needs of the Dexcom Engineering Program.
- Works with other cross functional engineering teams to validate API, content and architecture decisions
- Assists Project Manager with generating new project plans and sprint capacity planning
- Works to establish strong SDLC practices for teams
- Drives product excellence by helping teams define and build products that generate measurable value *Required Qualifications: *




- Deep understanding of software engineering and established best practices
- Proficient with one or more of our core technologies (iOS, Android, Web, API, Backend, Test Engineering) *Education Requirements: Serving as a Trusted Advisor to Clients for their infrastructure concerns and issues
- Develop a macro view of current and future state of business and technology architecture that is well connected with business strategy
- Provide leadership in developing standards, architectural governance, architectural design patterns and IT best practices.
Work with other architects to develop a comprehensive view of all aspects of **client **Enterprise Architecture
- Create and present to internal and external clients presentations, White Papers and Red Papers on technology stack solutions

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
**Experience**
- At least 2 years progressive experience in IT,



or equivalent college experience
- Must have experienced skills in scripting and programming languages as needed

**Skills**
- Demonstrated project management experience including a demonstrated ability to manage blended teams of consultants and internal resources
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and modeling skill
- Ability to develop a strategic vision
- Ability to develop system concepts, logical architectures, solution options, and pros and cons of different options
- Ability to articulate solution options and build consensus on most plausible alternatives
- Pull together from multiple sources and present final solutions and best practices around architecture and future product roadmaps
