**Descripción y Requisitos**

**Scope of the Job**

Develop & implement machining processes needs for new projects, in function of plants available capacity and technologies, to assure project timing and machining KPI deliverables.
Support plants in machining processes issue(s) resolution and improvement(s) targets achievement, in line with: Production System standard and requirements

**Tasks and responsibility**

Develop & lead implementation of machining processes (CNC mills) needs (fixtures, cutting tools, gages, etc..) for new projects of the plant, to assure project timing and machining KPI deliverables.
- Elaborate equipment specification




- Conduct Equipment validation
- Prepare PFMEA / PCP / work instruction
- Support & train plant technician & engineers

Responsible for project(s) timing, and KPI´s deliverables in regards of assigned projects.
Focus on Capacity utilization, CapEx reduction and new process technology developments / innovations implementation whenever possible.
Support supplier's development, in sourced machine parts, until PPAP approval to assure projects deliverables regarding to Process Engineering KPI´s.
Support the quotation process for new product developments or processes improvements assuring best in class quality, performance and cost of the machining process by utilizing existing processes and/or introducing new solutions to fulfill task within projects financial targets.
Conduct / support feasibility studies of machining processes in proposed project design changes and / or PPI´s (Plant Performance Initiatives).
Promote & participate in continuous improvement of existing processes in order to have a lasting positive impact on quality, cost and productivity results.




Participate & Support plants machining processes problem / issues resolutions.
Plan & support implementation of infrastructure investment or modifications with regards to machining processes continuous development

**Qualification and professional experience**
- Diploma, Bachelor or master's degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on Production / manufacturing / Machining processes.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of manufacturing and machining processes of manufacturing of the automotive industry, with preference and knowledge in CNC programs
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good results orientation and strong work ethic
- Experience working with vendors and managing equipment build.
- Writing skills, including technical reports and equipment specifications.




- Good communication skills, must be able to communicate verbally and in written form with all levels of the organization
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Basic 3D modeling
- Good interpersonal skills
- Business fluent in English.
