We are on the hunt for a **Supply Chain Maestro **to join a vibrant team at the forefront of reshaping how light is captured and created.
A trailblazing company dedicated to revolutionizing the way people capture and create light is seeking a talented **Supply Chain Manager** to join their team and help them optimize their supply chain processes.As a **Supply Chain Manager,** you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless flow of the products from manufacturing to customer delivery.
This position requires a versatile operations expert, generalist in ops, who thrives in managing the complexities of inbound supply chains, customs brokerage, 3PL management, inventory movements,
and addressing challenges like short shipments.This is an incredible remote opportunity to work for a US-based company.
**What You'll Do**:- Inbound Supply Chain Management: Oversee the inbound logistics from international suppliers, coordinating with customs brokers to ensure compliance and timely delivery.- 3PL Management: Lead our third-party logistics partnership, ensuring efficient operations across our five locations, optimizing for both direct sales and our Amazon strategy.- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage movements across locations, and develop strategies to mitigate short shipments and other inventory challenges.- Operations Excellence: Drive operational improvements across international shipping and packaging processes, aiming for cost-efficiency and sustainability.- Project Management: Lead inventory projects related to quality control, product/carton specifications, new introductions, and kitting/bundling.- Reporting: Design and maintain performance metrics, investigate variances, and present findings to management.- Strategic Planning:
Participate in strategic planning to improve supply chain resilience and efficiency, although this is not a primary requirement.
**What You Need**:- Experience: Proven track record in supply chain management, preferably in a direct-to-consumer electronics environment.- Experience with international shipping, customs, and 3PL warehouse management is a must.- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with NetSuite is highly desirable.
Experience with Amazon FBA is a significant advantage.- Proficiency in Shopify, and warehouse 3PL management systems (WMS) is required.- Knowledge of Flexport (Deliver) and various shipping tools is beneficial.- Operations Savvy: Exceptional operational capabilities, with a knack for troubleshooting and optimizing supply chain processes.- Communication:
Strong communication skills to effectively manage relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
**Salary & Perks**:- Competitive salary.- This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.- The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.- Work from home
