The Maintenance Manager reports to the General Plant Manager and is responsible for managing all maintenance engineer and corrective maintenance resources for all the Wheels Facility.
The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for:
- Analyze downtime reports on a daily basis and coordinate repair activities
- Work with maintenance engineers to determine improvements, projects and other activities needed
- Establish/ensure execution of PM plans for all production equipment; critically looking at major equipment and improving PM frequency value
- Ensure production equipment downtimes are being resolved in an efficient, safe, and timely manner
- Chart development and analysis involving OEE, MTBR, MTTR, time charts
- Perform root cause analysis of maintenance issues
- Mechanical or Electric Engineer.
- 100% English (Spoken, Written and Reading)
- Experience in Supervision, Control, Activities Management (Mechanic, Electric, Welding, Hydraulic and Pneumatic).
- Leadership in Plant Engineering with responsibilities for development energy strategies, resources, cost reduction, inventories, contractors, and others, as well as their performance and evaluation.
- Management, supervision and development of the human resource.
- Strength in electrical systems; substations, motor starting systems, lighting.
- Refrigeration systems; chillers, air handlers, air conditioning units.
- Screw compressed air systems and refrigeration dryers.
- Troubleshooting analysis.
- Development of contractors and suppliers.
- Management of control of costs and inventories.
