**Job Summary**
An independent Capital Project Engineering Manager, with business, technical, project controls and leadership capabilities. Typically has managed projects and schedule with budgets greater than $5 MM for a minimum of 3 years including at least 5 - 10 years in Project Management in food and beverage industry leading Multifunctional Teams, Project Leaders and/or Project Managers
Responsible for developing CapEx strategies aligned with cross functional areas across the KO system and in line with the strategic priorities of the company. This role is responsible for fostering best practices in the execution of Project Plans, Project Portfolio Management,
and establishing agreements that are in the best interest of CPS México for CapEx projects to ensure they are executed on time and complete. CAPEX Strategic Initiatives comprise of projects to support advancement of the company’s Business Plant. This includes but is not limited to: Filling Lines, Mixing Process, Warehouse, Utilities, Buildings, Administrative Office, Operational Expansions and Logistical Investments.
This role is responsible for Project Engineering Technical approval process, Project Budget and Spent process, ensuring a whole compliance of legal requirements, KORE requirements and Financial Policies.
**Key Duties/Responsibilities**
- ** Effectively Projects Pipeline Management and Project Portfolio Process to meet quality, cost, and time objectives (50%) - **Includes PMO related process, Capital Approval Process, PPfM, Master Plan execution, contractor Management, SPP related Process. Lead Project Leaders and External Contractors (Project Managers) to achieve projects objectives and related strategic deployment goals.
- ** Technical design approval process (20%)
- **Technical reviews and approvals required for each project based in project nature, ensuring a full compliance of legal requirements, KORE Requirements and striving in acquiree the best available solution.
- ** Biding, Negotiation and Contract related activities (20%) - **Ensuring a full compliance with TCCEC policies related to Purchase and Capital process. (>100 KUSD)
- ** Collaborate with operational routines (10%)**:Required Training, Business Excellence, OPS and Safety programs, Improvement Initiatives, Global Initiatives, update project process and procedures for Project Department, etc.
**Financial/Job Scope**
- Mange a project budget of US$ 5 million approximately.
- Handle around 20 different CapEx Projects Pipeline in 4 distinct locations (BDM, CD, Planta and Lerma)
- Change Management facilitator with the project owners, sponsor and shareholders.
- Lead and give guidance to internal Project Leaders (2) and External Project Leaders (6)
- Address Risk Management and Mitigations Plans for Project Pipeline
- Coordinate projects Schedule aligned with SPP Annual Plan
- Communication Plan Responsible inside CPS México and External Vendor
- Technical reviews and approvals
- Negotiate with internal and external suppliers
- Engineering review with suppliers and Detail Engineering Development
- Contact with Global Engineering Governance and SME’s to ensure the appliance of the best practices and ensure the system networking.
**Organization Impact/Influence**
- Concentrate Operation: Direct relationship with the Plant General Manager,
Area Managers and Supervisor to support business strategy/plan and share with the rest of the operation new projects and its activities schedule.
- CPS Network: CPS Engineering Director, Technical CPS SME’s, Global Procurement Managers, DWT participation and other CPS Plant Engineering team across the globe to share knowledge and critical experiences.
- Suppliers: negotiation for executing projects, contract negotiation and execution supervision.
**Supervisory Responsibilities**
- 2 Internal Project Leaders and 1 Trainee
- At least 2 different Project Manager Contractors with 6 dedicated Project Managers.
- 40 contractors approximately per year depending on the amount and scope of projects.
- Coordination with Production Supervisor, QA Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Maintenance Scheduler and Safety team to execute planned activities.
- Coordination with Local CRC to deploy de PPfM process.

- Project Management (+5 years)
- Project Portfolio Management (1 year)
- Food, Beverage or Pharma Industry (5-10 years) (desirable)
- Expertise in Engineering Principles (5-10 years)
- Bidding process (2-4 years)
- Budget project handle (3-5 years)
- Project supervision (3 Years)
- Knowledge in one of the next apps: MS Project, Primavera, JIRA or equivalent (1 year)
- MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Power Point (1 year)
