**Role Responsibilities**:
We are looking for an Executive Director Project Manager to focus in strategic execution of large scale change initiatives that would address industry, client and business requirements in Latin America Payments.
**Responsibilities**
- Execute projects with detailed analysis of the market, payment landscape, revenue opportunities and proposed solutions
- Deliver short, medium and long-term strategy in line with the defined strategy of functional product managers, i.e.
Core cash, Liquidity, Access, FX, etc.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, Technology,
Implementations and Business Managements team to identify, develop and implement project/strategy
- Through creative thinking, leverage partner solutions, Fintechs and innovation, grow capabilities and footprint in country and in region
- Understand local legislation impacting TS products and ensure they are taken into consideration as part of the strategy
- Represent J.P. Morgan at local industry meetings and forums where appropriate
- Anticipate internal and external factors impacting the region and implement plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
- Strong control and governance
- Point person for senior stakeholder communication on product and sales strategy, project management, demos, and tracking of milestones.
- You will coordinate and help run working group meetings for this initiative with members from operations,
technology, infrastructure, and select others from front and back office and external parties including vendors and regulators.
- Responsible for the coordination of user acceptance testing, being a point of contact for production sign-off, data migration (from legacy to new world), and lead the effort on prod-parallel, as needed.
- Able to build project timeline including critical paths
- Project Management throughout the full systems development life cycle using both Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Drive issue escalation and resolution; risk identification and mitigation and the overall removal of roadblocks that impede progress of the project
- Complete written and verbal status reporting
- Prepare documents for regulatory submission when needed
- Liaise with management in key stakeholder groups (i.e.
Business,
Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, TPO, Vendors, etc.)
- Development and implementation of work plans
**Experience**:
- Robust experience in building and delivering payment or growth strategy for a financial institution
- Experience in TS/Corporate banking products (Payables & Receivables, Liquidity, Client channels, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability for strategic thinking and influencing at all levels
- Intellectually curious with 'constant improvement' mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to quickly build strong partnerships, credibility and influence with technology, functional partners, and senior management
- Experience in managing and motivating teams from a diverse backgrounds and seniority
- Commercially minded individual with creative problem solving,
capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
- Strong presentation and communication skills both with clients and internal partners
- Proven and extensive experience in the role of Project Manager / Program Manager,
- Knowledge of project management framework and methodologies is expected.
Certifications like PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PfMP are a plus.
- Proven leadership qualities as well as high performance track record
