Our mandate is to pilot digital solutions for Porsche based on US market trends and user needs.
As a member of the Guadalajara office, you will focus on the topics of quality assurance and software testing, working alongside a team of software engineers to enable new cutting-edge mobile experiences.
We are looking for an experienced quality assurance and test engineer to assist in the development of new products and software features.
**The position is based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
We are working in a hybrid work environment with onsite and remote workdays.
****Primary Responsibilities**:- Define, execute, and improve the test-driven-development process for mobile and in-vehicle software.- Develop and execute Feature, Integration, System,
and Performance test cases.- Establish design principles for QA automation and Performance Test.- Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach across project teams.- Create test plans and test strategies.- Execute test-cases, ensuring accurate test coverage and robust feedback.- Assist with and support the use of an in-house testing framework.- Perform functional, regression, error case, edge-case, ad-hoc and compatibility testing.- Work with Product Owners and other team members to create and enforce quality standards.- Create bug reporting, track defects, and provide quality metrics.- Communicate test results and daily status.- Coach and mentor agile team members on automated testing best practices.
**Minimum Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
Computer Engineering or related field.- 5+ years of expertise as a QA or test engineer.- 5+ years professional experience in software engineering.- Experience with scripting tools and languages for automated testing.- 3+ years of experience with test automation tooling and frameworks, for example Appium, Selenium.- Capable of defining new test methods and metrics as required.- Experience with process tooling, for example Atlassian tools
