**What you will do**:
Johnson Controls' Global Corporate Treasury team is responsible for enterprise-wide strategic and analytical treasury management.
As a Senior Treasury Analyst you will contribute to the Company’s financial strategy and vision with a focus on providing detailed analysis and strategy recommendations in several key areas which include supporting capital market transactions, forecasting analysis, cash management, foreign exchange and asset management for the company’s global pension plans. This position offers a dynamic work environment with great growth and development opportunity in Corporate Finance.
**How you will do it**:
- Support the debt capital market team with analysis and reporting related to the company’s debt portfolio (on currency mix, tenor, refinancing needs)
- Responsible for forecasting and tracking of interest expense and other finance charges.
- Investment management, responsible for the company’s global pension and retirement plans.
- Assist with month-end/quarterly close and related Treasury reporting process.
- Responsible for supporting internal and external auditors with review of Treasury matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Tax, FP&A;, and Accounting) to plan and execute strategic tax planning initiatives.
- Assists in maintenance of Treasury databases,
systems and records related to intercompany loans, capital injections and intercompany dividends.
- Opportunity to work on a broad array of other ad-hoc Treasury/ Corporate Finance projects.
- Prior experience with payment or Treasury systems: Trax, Quantum.
- Bank account opening, documentation, KYC policy, SOX experience is recommended.
**What we look for**:1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related education).
2. Five or more (5+) years' analytical and strategic experience in the areas of corporate treasury, finance, and/or accounting.
3. A highly motivated self-starter.
4. Detail oriented and strong organization skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
5. Comfort to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks.
6. Strong analytical skills,
ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner in both written and verbal forms with well-developed presentation and procedure/process drafting skills.
7. Strong sense of ownership of work commitments and a hands-on approach.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point.
Preferred
1. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
