Job Description
- Product development based on customer requirements.
- Design of parts using NX and Catia
- Calculation of tolerances and other mechanical parameters
- Creation and release of 2D drawings
- Participation in FMEA and design reviews
- Creation and Maintenance of Bill of material (BOM) of the products in development.
- Engineering Change Request creation and follow up until implementation
- Use of design tools (example: GD&T;)
- Coordinate engineering activities for a product from the development until the release of the part/component
- Participate in cross functional meetings, actively reporting the status of engineering activities
- Develop automation tools for 3D modeling
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace or similar)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in similar positions within product development
- Experience designing for injection molding, die casting and/or forging
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Preferable NX)
- GD&T; proficiency
- Proficiency in Mechanical engineering design
- Basic knowledge in programing languages (C, Python, etc)
- Basic knowledge of SAP (Creation and maintenance of materials and part lists)
- Ability to work in teams
- Cross cultural collaboration
- Proficiency in English language (written and spoken)
