**Head of Operational Excellence**
**Major Tasks**
SITE LEADERSHIP TEAM
- Full member of the Plant Site Leadership team leading the strategy, culture, KPI performance, and transformation.
- Collaborate to deliver the site master plan and long-term strategy.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Culture transformation
SITE STRATEGY
- Partner with the Plant Site Head to lead the development of the annual site strategy development process (Hoshin). Site “Current Business Need” definition and deployment and building a multi-year capability journey map.
- Drives Product Supply System (PSS) implementation strategy influencing site function heads.
PSS PHASE PROGRESSION
- Lead the Lerma PSS Phase Progression with Site Pillar Leaders,



Pillar members and Site Function Heads with support from Global OE team. This should start with a gap analysis of current capability across the pillars, comparison to the next phase pillar requirements, and recommendation on phase progress approach for alignment with Site Leadership Team.
- Coach PSS Pillar leaders to deliver requirements to achieve next phase progression journey step.
- Providing governance for the site continues improvement programs and processes, including monitoring critical KPIs.
- Responsible for the Site Operational Excellence program including OE organization, site scorecard, glidepaths/PDCAs and LEAN methodologies.
REGIONAL - GLOBAL PSS TEAM
- Represent Lerma site in the Global OE Team
- Collaborate to build the PSS Advancement Pillar content for deployment & own a pillar for the global team.
- Collaborate and elevate best practices from Region LATAM.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
- Support Digital Transformation / Smart Factory program and drive digitalization of PSS
- Develop,



implement and support smart and digital tools implementation
- Businesscase preparation to achieve annual savings’ target and reducing dispense to release lead times.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Lead short/long term improvement project using PSS and LEAN toolkit. This will require leading multi-functional teams from ideation, through problem solving tool usage, through completion of improvement and KPI transformation.
- Build business cases for funding and resources with data and analytics to support sub-projects as building blocks toward PSS progression.
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
- Ensure high performance culture through management, coaching and developing of direct reports; setting and communicating department objectives and clear standards of performance; appropriate training; individual performance evaluations; promptly addressing issues.
**Skills.**
- Level of Education:



Bachelor’s degree with a business or technical orientation (Engineering, Administration, Chemical, etc.); certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent qualification; Master degree is plus
- Languages: 1) Spanish (fluently, ideally native speaking), 2) Advanced English (C1 or 800 TOEIC Points)
- Special Knowledge: 1) OE or Continuous improvement tools (lean-six sigma, data analytics, excel), 2) Project management, 3) Financial knowledge Experience requiremen
