**About Advanced Energy****ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Oversee test engineering team daily workflow, assignments, and works schedules.- Design and implement test procedures to ensure the quality and functionality of the product.- Troubleshoot any errors on test process, work with design team to find solutions to performance issues.- Lead and participate in staff meetings for production, design or new projects matters.- Explore, design, implement, maintain and control new and current technologies and test systems.- Design and deployment of test stations that meet functional, ergonomic and safety requirements.- Training staff and provide technical support when needed.- Prepare test reports and statistical data for management.- Control,
validation, and maintenance of electrical test software using statistical tools.- Develop and implement custom software interface to improve and fulfill test requirements.- Implementation of engineering changes and new product introduction.- Validate electronic components specification.- Participate and coordinate continuous improvement activities (kaizen)- Manage Test process documentation (Visual aids, test procedures, Validation log, User log, etc.).
**SKILLS**:- Windows and MS Office handling (Advanced)- Advanced Expertise with electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, digital multi-meter, signal generator, electronic load, AC & DC Sources) and Automated test system for power supplies.- Expertise with test harness design and fabrication for power supplies.- Advanced Expertise with bed of nails ICTs and MDA Systems.- Expertise of safety tests (Hi-pot, Leakage, GC, etc).- Expertise of safety measures and devices.
(Light curtains, emergency stop, safety equipment, etc.
)- Advanced analog and digital electronic understanding of power supplies.- Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.- Digital communication protocols (RS232, USART, UART, SPI, I2C, others).- Troubleshoot and repair circuits.- Knowledge of Technical English (> 80%).- Advanced programming knowledge and skill.
(C++, C#, vb, vb.NET, assembly code, etc).- Statistical tools (Measurement system analysis, Control charts, ANOVA, T-student, Cpk, etc).- Continuous flow production method.

**EXPERIENCE**:**Essential**:- Six Sigma green belt and lean manufacturing certification.- 5+ years' experience in Electronics Industry.- 5+ years' experience as electrical test engineer.- 3+ years' experience as engineering team leader.
**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:- Availability to travel worldwide.- US Visa and passport (valid).
**EDUCATION**:**Essential**:- Bachelor's degree (Electronic engineering).
