The company runs over 200,000 Square Feet throughout the country.
**Job Overview**:This Role will be responsible for running and managing the entire holdings for self-storage properties.
As the company grows, they plan to have this individual lead the new hires as the growth expands.
**Responsibilities**:- Managing Properties remotely: Running point without being on the property.- Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any potential problems.- Tenant Relations: Addressing tenant concerns, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive tenant experience.- On-Site Management: For larger properties, property managers may oversee on-site staff like security personnel or maintenance workers.- General Upkeep: Overseeing routine maintenance tasks like landscaping, cleaning common areas, and pest control.- Repair Coordination: Addressing tenant repair requests, scheduling appointments with qualified vendors, and overseeing repairs.- Preventative Maintenance:
Performing or arranging preventative maintenance to avoid future problems and keep the property in good**Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies**:- Google Sheets/ Excel/ Airtable.
(Vlookup & counting functions)- Understanding of connecting hardware and software.- Able to communicate about the Real Estate industry.
Specifically, conversing with contractors about projects and holding to deadlines.- Attention to Detail: Property management involves managing finances, legal documents, and maintenance issues.
A keen eye for detail ensures accuracy and avoids costly mistakes.- Problem-Solving: Unexpected situations and tenant issues arise frequently.
Property managers need to be resourceful and find solutions that satisfy all parties involved.- Technical Skills: Familiarity with property management software and online tools can streamline tasks and improve efficiency.- Customer Service:
Providing exceptional service to both property owners and tenants is vital for maintaining satisfaction and building positive relationships.- Organization and Time Management: Juggling multiple tasks, deadlines, and tenant requests requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
