About HireRight:Overview:The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager in handling HireRight's compliance affairs and supporting a variety of teams across the business.
They audit and report on compliance aspects of our business.
**Responsibilities**:- Conduct detailed activities to assess our own compliance with applicable law- Conduct detailed activities to assess the reliability of reports from our operating groups on our own compliance with applicable law- Conduct detailed activities to assess our customers' compliance with applicable law- Conduct detailed activities to assess the reliability of reports from our operating group on our customers' compliance with applicable law- Assist with privacy and compliance assessments required by customers and data sources- Report on these activities- Assist projects to mitigate identified compliance weaknesses- Other duties as assigned by General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President of Compliance, or Compliance ManagerQualifications:- A high school diploma or an equivalent showing of basic skills- Experience showing interest in law, compliance, human resources, or the equivalent- Experience showing interest in privacy or consumer-reporting laws- Curious- Comfortable in asking questions and questioning assumptions- Superb in spotting issues- Creative in solving issues- Persuasive in generating consensus- Clear in written and oral communications- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and at least two of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint,
and Visio- Working independently with little oversight or direction- Multi-tasking continuously- Placing practical impact over theory or perfection- Collaborating with others inside and outside of the law department- Working with people at different levels of the organization- Communicating professionally and cordially with customers, vendors, and data sources- Communicate in fluent English- Use a computer for extended periods of time- Communicate by telephone- Maintain appropriate confidentialityWhat do we offer:- Please submit resume/CV in English._- HireRight does not accept unsolicited resumes through or from search firms or staffing agencies.
