Laboratories' Instruments connectivity integration/maintenance with Labvantage LIMS/other, developing new device drivers for future instruments connection with Labvantage LIMS/other and supporting existing drivers.Developing and maintaining reports required for 5 R&D; Labs functions currently implemented into Labvantage, as well as future functions, using Jasper tool.Your Impact As IT LIMS Java Sr. Analyst, your responsibilities would consist of:
Work closely with the IT LIMS Functional Lead and IT Solution Architect to ensure alignment with business goals and delivery plans.Procure project requirements including information, agreements,
and materials or technology needed to accomplish project objectives.Manage the relationship with Labs SMEs to ensure understanding of business requirements, including end-to-end software development from analysis to maintenance.Manage constraints of the plan including cost, time, scope, and quality.Specify quality of deliverables for acceptance criteria definition.Typically work remotely but may travel up to 5% depending on location.Update or produce documentation for internal and external use.Attend instrument connectivity meetings.Write periodic status progress reports.Collaborate with a team to solve issues and create new features in the connectivity space.Resolve technical issues that arise within the program.Meet with lab management teams to plan LIMS implementation, enhancements,
and assess operational impacts.Perform other duties as needed.QualificationsWho Are We Looking For? Years of Experience Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication, scientific discipline or equivalent experience) with 3+ years of experience or a Master's degree.Knowledge of Java development methodologies and database is a must.Advanced conversational and written English is a must.Practical experience (over 3 years) in complex institutions.Portuguese proficiency is a plus.Experience in R&D; (Research and Development) is a plus.Knowledge in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) is a plus.Tech Skills Minimum of 3 years of programming experience using programming languages such as VB, Windows scripting language, Java is a must.Safe Agile knowledge or certification is a plus.Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS): LabVantage, LabWare, StarLIMS, Empower, Chromatography Data Systems (CDS),
Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) is a plus.Azure knowledge is a plus.Project Methods and Tools experience.Experience in working with relational databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle).Create and maintain system documentation.Non-Tech Skills Clear communication and strong ability to work closely with others (Team player mentality).Keen attention to detail.Ability to analyze problems and find solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
