About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 09
The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining trust between the organization and its employees.
This role will involve conflict resolution, conducting investigations to review reported concerns, policy implementation, and fostering strong communication between management and staff.
Responsibilities and Impact: Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve employee disputes, providing guidance and support to both employees and management.
Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
Employee Engagement:
Promote a culture of open communication by facilitating employee feedback sessions and engagement initiatives.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions on conflict resolution, communication skills, and performance management for staff and management.
Investigation Management: Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members to support talent management, performance reviews, and organizational development.
Reporting: Prepare reports on employee relations trends and issues, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations issues and best practices.

5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
