Position Overview Our Global Infrastructure team is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with experience building, managing, and supporting cutting-edge cloud applications.
The successful candidate should possess a robust understanding of HIPAA regulated enterprise-scale infrastructure, technologies, and applications, with demonstrated experience in recovery resiliency.
Understanding of cloud resiliency, infrastructure, cyber security, and business continuity are essential to support the resiliency transformation program.
You should have expertise in Data Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Backups, Cloud (AWS) Best Practices, Infrastructure, Networking, and Virtualization.
The candidate should be interested in new technologies and be able to learn new applications quickly.
Responsibilities Assist in the operational support of multiple global multi-tenant cloud-based applications.Oversee day-to-day monitoring and response to alarms, fault, and performance management activities.Proactively monitor systems, networks, and applications to improve stability, security, efficiency,
and scalability.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the success of cloud infrastructure operations and implementations.Help establish and improve engineering best practices with peers and the business.Collaborate with software development leads to guide them in leveraging cloud services.Lead analysis of end-to-end system failures to identify opportunities across multiple systems.Participate in incident reviews to improve supportability documentation and tooling.Manage the secure, scalable, and resilient hosting of applications in a regulated (HIPAA) environment.Implement monitoring and security controls across various platforms.Collaborate closely with multiple technology and cross-functional groups.Analyze and run audit forensics, trend analysis, and cloud data reporting.Manage ticket assignments, documentation,
and escalations for thorough outcomes.Required Skills and Competencies Extensive hands-on experience with key AWS services, particularly EC2, API Gateway, ELB, S3, EBS, and ECS.Knowledge of secure cloud architecture and best practices such as AWS's Well-Architected Framework.Experience with Application and Infrastructure Monitoring such as AWS Cloudwatch, Datadog, and PagerDuty.Practical knowledge of cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code tools, such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.In-depth architectural understanding of AWS and familiarity with cloud-native design patterns and DevOps principles.Experience with Change management, incident review, and root cause analysis.Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical teams and management.Knowledge of designing scalable IT system infrastructures and automating service delivery tasks.Education and Experience 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related field.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Additional Information This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired).
