About the role: As a Full-Stack Engineer at OneSeven, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.
Your role will involve setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing servers, and ensuring the applications are HIPAA compliant, especially when dealing with patient data in the health-tech space.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and improve existing ones, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Regularly updating documentation and unit tests for QA will be part of your responsibilities, along with adhering to OST development procedures like pull requests, branch naming, and time tracking on ClickUp Tickets.
Seeking a skilled engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails and Tableau Server to advance our healthcare data platform.
Key responsibilities include writing and managing Tableau Server APIs and Embedded API code to build more dynamic and integrated dashboards, automating workflows, and creating user-friendly, seamless UIs beyond standard iframe implementations.
Experience with healthcare data and analytics, Python integration for Tableau (e.g., TabPy), and embedding custom charting tools is a plus.
Familiarity with AWS tools (RDS, S3), PostgreSQL, and modern data visualization practices is highly desirable.
Onboarding: If you're located in Buenos Aires, we would like you to come to the office twice a week.
If you're elsewhere, onboarding will be conducted via video call.
We expect a quick onboarding process, enabling you to contribute to projects swiftly after starting.
Qualifications: 4+ years of experience working as Fullstack Developer 2+ years of experience working actively with Ruby on Rails Intermediate English level (important) Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work 9am -5pm EST Provide your own workspace with reliable Internet service Passionate about the startup environment and eager to learn Strong mentoring and leadership skills Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and solve problems Team player, willing to jump outside of their role to help the greater team.
Ability to research as you work Accountable for your own time in a fully remote environment Desire to contribute to a growing, dynamic team Agile + Scrum Methodology knowledge Keen eye for detail and excel in documentation.
You are highly organized and proficient in task management.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Technical Requirements: Develop and deploy Ruby on Rails (monolith) backend code with our web and mobile applications.
Technical proficiency in Tableau,
and data integration tools.
Certifications are a plus!
Knowledge of PHI, HIPAA compliance, the FHIR standard for exchanging healthcare information electronically, and the healthcare industry.
Share knowledge of the best software development practices Experience Ruby on Rails 6.1 or newer.
Expertise writing and integrating REST API's GIT + Github Experience Experience working with Linux OS is a must.
Experience with mySQL is a must.
Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.
Experience working with Docker is preferred.
Experience with Terraform is preferred.
Experience with unit testing (rspec) is preferred.
Must have AWS is experience.
