The incumbent would contribute in deliverables/activities that involve but not restricted to, extracting data from different data sources, data cleaning, data processing and finally representation of information using latest visualization techniques to support business activities, audit and regulatory requests, projects covering HR GSO area.
**Principal Accountabilities**:- Manage the reporting & analytics demand coming through demand channel- Consult with stakeholders/requestors to determine requirements in line with group priorities and identify most sustainable solution- Generate data from relevant HSBC systems as well as external sources- Adopt and drive greater adoption of self-service platform by educating the stakeholders- Interfaces with business/functions to translate business requirements into executable instructions/ technical.- Plays key role in consulting with stakeholders to understand business problems and design data-driven solutions- Lend surplus capacity to support BI product evolution activities and promote self-serviceRequirements**Technical Skills**- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or; Master Degree in Technology/mathematics/ statistics/ economics or equivalent would be preferred with and total relevant minimum experience of 1-3 years.
Experience in People/HR Analytics domain preferred (but not mandatory).- Advanced English- Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude.
Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is advantageous.- Good knowledge of programming tools, preferably with proficiency in any one or combination of tools such as SQL, R, Python, and knowledge of contemporary visualization tools (e.G.
Power BI/Tableau/ODV/Qlik) and techniques- Experience in interrogating and interpreting data; ability to draw compelling insights from data analysis- Excellent written communication and presentation skills to a wide range of internal and external audiences, including executive level, with ability to summarize technical concepts to a non-technical or generalist audience.- Delivery of multiples deliverables at pace.
