**Eaton’s ICD division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team.** This position is based at our Cd. Juarez facility
The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating the manufacturing/production activities to achieve maximum productivity at minimum cost, while maintaining world class levels Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Motivate and manage the staff in such a way as to ensure acceptable quality levels, safety employee relations and allows the plant to achieve its manufacturing goals.
Some activities related with the position will be:
- Develop and motivate an effective workforce necessary to accomplish plant production objectives in an effective and timely manner.




- Support and utilize the quality improvement system in a team environment with a constant on continuous improvement.
- Direct and coordinate the production activities to achieve maximum productivity at minimum cost, while maintaining world class levels of customer satisfaction. Motivate and administer staff in a manner which ensures acceptable quality levels, safety, and employee relations and allows the plant to achieve its manufacturing objectives.
- Assign overtime as required to meet production schedules.
- Train direct labor operators on proper operations, maintenance, safety and housekeeping requirements for assigned tasks. Validate set-up and operating procedures.
- Evaluate qualifications and performance of team members based upon Division and Plant policies.
- Utilize manpower and materials to attain highest possible productivity and least possible scrap loss.
- Advise management on potential product liabilities, personnel issues, and customer satisfaction problems.
- Protect the safety of team members by assuring all safety rules and standards are being enforced.



Promote safety awareness by conducting safety meetings and inspections.
- Achieve result-oriented safety-based objectives which supports frequency and severity reduction of injuries and illnesses.
- Support company's Quality Policy in adherence to applicable ISO/IATF policies and procedures.
- Support other company’s and Plant policies and all local, state, and national laws as applicable.
- Assume complete responsibility for all activities and events occurring in the assigned departments. Perform all duties in a professional manner.

**Qualifications**:
**Required (Basic) Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production processes.
- Knowledge of and experience with AIAG Core Tools, (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).




- Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage groups.
- Good communication skills at different levels.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Solid experience on Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Experience on problem solving techniques (8 D).
- Experience on ISO/IATF quality systems
