**JOB SUMMARY**:

**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor degree required. College (University) degree in marketing, hospitality management, or related field - preferred
- 2+ years of experience in equivalent position - Experience in Pay-per-Click advertising, Paid Search and/or Metasearch, ideally within Travel or similar industry.
- 1+ years managerial experience preferred, leading a team or a project
- Management of KODDI Platform - desired.
- Prior experience in the field of marketing or marketing services support, digital marketing, restaurant/bar marketing, and social media experience preferred
- Quick learner with ability to gain a solid understanding of media distribution channels, while maintaining pulse on what is new and next in digital media strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to balance the interests and demands of multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Fluency of English and Spanish required_ - Portuguese a plus. _International working experience strongly preferred
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
- Verifies effective client communication and participates in stakeholder communications as needed.
- Responsible for development, implementation, day-to-day paid media operation, media performance evaluation and quality assurance
- Collaborates with Field Marketing Shared Services colleagues on the overall marketing strategy,
serving as the digital expert.
- Engages frequently with Field Marketing team to verify alignment, pull-through, and two-way communication about the status, performance, opportunities, and issues related to paid media and other digital initiatives.
- Sets up and optimizes campaigns based on flows, demand and destination needs.
- Collects information regarding hotel needs and expectations, answers questions about paid media, digital channels and Marriott initiatives.
- Verifies appropriate documentation is delivered throughout program engagement.
- Monitors the impact of the program versus goals and proactively communicates with Directors/Managers about need for changes in strategic direction.
- Liaises with Global PLUS team as well as Koddi platform to ensure all CALA specific needs are taken into account.
- Manages program deliverables within expected timelines. Comes with relevant action when needed.
- Works with Field Marketing Account Managers to have paid media budgets are uploaded in their corresponding platforms to verify all program deliverables are executed on time
- Reviews all paid media deliverables to verify that they are on strategy and achieving set media goals.
- Establishes digital key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjusts program strategy and tactics based on hotel needs.
- Makes strategic recommendations for additional services/tactics to enhance the program to meet property goals.
**Analyzes Results and Reports on Progress
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce reports and interpret data to make strategic decisions.
- Monitors program results and business goals on an ongoing basis,
exercising critical and analytical thinking of results.
- Reviews monthly reports to illustrate the impact of digital marketing initiatives and program tactics across various online verticals.
- Schedules and leads monthly meetings to communicate program results; provides insights and answers questions about hotel performance in the respective digital channels.
- Proactively looks for opportunities and makes recommendations for additional services/tactics to enhance the program.
- Serves as the Digital Subject Matter Expert to address hotel/owner questions on behalf of/in partnership with Field Marketing.
**Supporting Operations
- Provides feedback to continually improve work processes and systems that support program execution.
- Solicits feedback from properties to verify program tactics meet their needs and demands.
- Establishes and maintains complete and up-to-date information on all property’s status and performance.
- Stays up to date on industry best-practices and actively seeks out opportunities to learn more about the industry.
