**Background Information**
Commercial Experience (Comex) has the mission of continually improving the cost, service and environmental impact of the 4 Service Operations - Human Resources, Information and Analytics, Business and Finance and Workplace. With the move to Global Supply Chain Finance Services, the team covers the supply chain transactional finance activities of SCF with support of Third Party Outsourcing Centre managing the operations and transactional activities. SCFS team operates in a dynamic environment where significant changes in operational ways of working are emerging.
**Purpose of Job**
As Operational Accounting Analyst you are responsible for analysis and maintain COPA (Profitability Analysis)
activities and information, month end closing activities and proactively providing reports and analyses to optimize the Supply Chain Costs. You are responsible for the timely flagging of issues and driving the correction of those issues before month end closing regarding COPA.
You are responsible to answer any business performance question coming from the different teams within the Supply Chain Finance network. For this obviously you are required to have good experience on the system set up as well as a business background on the different supply chain processes.
Within the Supply Financial Accounting team we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced all-round accounting expert with knowledge of accounting and SAP. This expert will work in a multicultural team in an international setting and you will be the responsible owner of the financial accounting and reporting process of Unilever Supply Chain companies.

**Main Accountabilities**:
- Perform data quality analysis on Supply Chain costs by being the COPA content specialist within Unilever Supply Chain and able to provide assistance in understanding the relationship between SAP results and BW4HANA results.
- Analyse supply chain result by performing necessary SAP transactions and understand key drivers behind the results.
- Enforce checks and controls to ensure accurate and timely month end close related to all Management Accounting activities. This includes managing the activities that are being executed through our 3rd Party Service Suppliers.
- Managing communication of financial results and expectations towards stakeholders.
- Providing improvement plans and the implementation and execution of them in recurring activities to optimize the standard processes.
- Participate in any project in the SAP/COPA/BW4HANA space on which participation of SCFS is relevant.

- Cluster MCO/MSO (Marketing and Sales Organizations) - Supply Chain Controllers.

**Key Skills**:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance & Administration or Engineering.
- You have an excellent analytical ability.
- Team player, Proactive and flexible.
- Diligent, service minded and not afraid to challenge yourself or your counterparts.
- You are able to take on responsibility and process minded thinking and constant improvement comes naturally to you.
- You have good communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to challenge pro-actively.
- Shown skills with MS Office (excellent skills in Excel)
and SAP or an accounting system.
**Experience**:
- Experience in Month End close processes.
- Understanding the Supply Chain Accounting end-to-end processes is a plus.
- Good understanding and experience in Product costing is highly recommended.
- Team management experience.
- Experience in Project Management (e.g. new SAP version implementation) is a plus.
**Language Requirement**:
- English.
- Other languages are a plus (especially Portuguese for Brazil interaction).
