The Sr. Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of innovative and engaging sales training initiatives across the AM Global organization. Working closely with commercial team, sales, and offering management leaders, you will develop and execute plans that optimally deliver on our goals and build the capability of the sales organizations we support.

This position reports to the Sr Director,
Sales Excellence and requires a self-starter with a unique blend of selling skills and a background of utilizing various training methodologies, knowledge of the industries we serve, strong writing & communication skills, as well as training development and delivery skills based on sales and/or marketing experience.
**Training & Communication Strategy**:
- Collaborate with commercial leaders to support development of a global sales training and communication strategy and curriculum that is standardized and scalable across AM to improve the organization's sales capabilities to drive sales performance and results
- Collaborate with the global/regional teams and SBU training teams to support development of an annual training plan, adapt global initiatives and resources to regional needs, continually assess the effectiveness and implement suggestions to improve
- Support collaboration across divisional, regional, and global training resources
**Delivery**:
- Collaborate with global program leads to improve awareness and access to sales training
- Own the delivery of sales & sales manager training for AM,
effectively managing training resources and improving efficiency of the training budget
- Improve sales productivity through the development and execution of sales enablement programs and initiatives; ensuring the sales steam can find the materials they need when they want them
- Using our field top performers as a source, identify repeatable best practices that can be integrated into materials and content provided
**Administration**:
- Support development & tracking training and communication metrics which drive effective change and measurable results.
- Analyze metrics to assess effectiveness. Report out to key partners to highlight training progression, effectiveness, and impact.
- Develop annual training schedule for region and ensure that training schedule is communicated and visible.
Support development and execution of annual communication plan for Sales excellence and commercial topics
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and deliver sales training materials focused on developing effective, differentiated conversations and Sales Rep level talk tracks around our solutions and offerings
- Ensure close alignment of sales and marketing with development of Sales playbooks
- Establish field relationships to regularly identify areas of improvement in sales execution and effectiveness
- Improve sales productivity through the development and execution of sales enablement programs and initiatives; ensuring the sales team can find the materials they need when they want them
- Using our field top performers as a source, identify repeatable best practices that can be integrated into materials and content provided
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- English Proficiency
- 3-5 years of relevant marketing/sales excellence/Sales operations/customer service/communications experience in a B2B environment ideally with experience in a services or solutions oriented businesses
- Excellent communications skills combined with the ability to navigate a wide variety of chemical products and services
- Ability to present self professionally and intelligently to internal clients/colleagues
- Collaborative approach to working across multiple teams to ensure individual and collective success
- Excellent program, project and time management and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness; Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Experienced with the use of various sales and productivity tools; SFDC,
Sales Enablement platforms such as Klyck.io, Sales
- Methodology tools for account planning, Microsoft Teams, Poppulo software
- Experience designing, and personally delivering, workshops and programs such as new hire programs, sales kick-offs,
- Consultative Selling, Challenger Sales Methodology, and Account and Opportunity Planning workshops
