Logistics Manager LA Region, will have primary accountability manage the operation of the Distribution Center, Logistics Budget, that covers warehousing, Inbound and Outbound Transportation and manage Headcount / Associates / Contractors., Attain AOP (Budget) with objectives focused on improving service and reduction of operating costs; Create estimates for cost trends vs AOP(Budget)
and Previous Year and communicate information to the business; Drive standard operating practices that will facilitate operational excellence and flawless execution (Lean).
**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**:- Provide tactical & strategic direction on warehouse operations and transportation, Import activities.- Develop and implement KPI's to drive improvements- Direct day to day operational activities with warehouse and transportation teams- Develop talent and identify high performers.
**Education**:- Post Graduation in Business Management or Supply Chain/Logistics- Master's degree desired- Advanced English**Experience**:- +8 years' experience in supply chain related functions (required), preferably within a retailer or manufacturing**Knowledge**:- Skills and Capabilities- Customer focused- Growth oriented- Develop teams and talent- Deliver results- Strong Subject Matter Expertise- Warehousing and distribution and process oriented.- Strong Business Acumen- Strong analytic and planning skills with ability to develop and report performance metrics.- Strong numerical skills and business judgment.- Strong team Leadership- Build strong teamwork within and across organization- Align commercial- Business and logistics strategy- Solve complex problems under time pressure- Take appropriate risks- Warehouse management with a 3PL Logisticsoperations.
