**Brand Partnerships Director - LATAM (Mexico City)**:

We are looking for an outstanding first hire in LATAM, to build and lead the market's expansion on the ground,



with the support of our talented teams across the US and UK.The role of
- **Brand Partnerships Director** is integral to the future expansion of our LATAM operations.
Reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, the role is primarily focused on leading the growth of new and existing brand partner relationships across Central and South America.
This role has fantastic progression and leadership opportunities as it will offer a great deal of autonomy in the set-up, and development of our operations in the region.You will work closely with the UK and US teams to onboard and grow high priority brand partners in Australia, assemble a local Brand Partnerships and Customer Success team who will go on to manage the day-to-day brand relationships, and work alongside our team of platform engineers and designers in the UK to continue to evolve and localize the SoPost product and services.
You will also work with the Head of Marketing to design and implement a local marketing strategy and our Director of Publisher & Platform Partnerships, to develop all stakeholder relationships in-market.In this role,



you will be the primary contact for new and existing LATAM-based brand partners (initially with a strong focus on beauty), while building the market strategy, thereby contributing significantly to the successful growth of our overall global business.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and convert new LATAM brand partner relationships and support the CRO in achieving growth objectives for the market.
Initial focus will be on Mexico, with quick expansion into other LATAM markets including Brazil, Argentina, Chile etc.
- Design, document and implement a new business strategy for the market.
- Actively prospect for new brand partners and strategic opportunities, across (but not exclusive to) the beauty, healthcare and food and beverage industries.
- Lead the new business process from development of sales pipeline, pitch presentation, and deal closure.




- Once a base business is established, you will build, mentor and develop a Brand Partnerships and Customer Success team, providing coaching in all areas of the sales cycle to enable individuals' progression.
- Set and deliver on agreed sales objectives and new business targets.
- Stay up-to-date on the product roadmap and upcoming launches within SoPost, as well as the wider digital media ecosystem, in order to identify potential opportunities with new and existing brand partners.
- Coordinate with the established Customer Success team in the US to lead campaign set up and facilitate the onboarding of new brand partners, before training up in-market hires to execute campaign management.
- Develop senior level relationships at existing brand partner groups and look to extend our reach across other brands within those groups.




- Build market sales targets and accurately report on the sales pipeline, including the likelihood of close on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Quickly establish and maintain a CRM database of key contacts, primarily in the beauty and wider FMCG industry, as well as across all media agencies.
- Work with the Director of Marketing to create a marketing outreach strategy, executing account-based marketing initiatives including representing SoPost at relevant industry events.
- Support the Director of Platform & Publisher Partnerships in showcasing Communities opportunities to publishers and integrating with market-specific platforms.
**Essential Skills**
- Minimum 8 years of related work experience in sales or client services within the digital marketing, advertising or tech industry.




- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

- Competent level of IT literacy (fluent in Google Docs, Google Calendar and Google Sheets).
- Two-fold ability to work very autonomously in the initial stages of the market, before energetically leading a team as the market establishes.
- Self-starter who is extremely organized and with strong time management skills.
- Strategic, consultative sales approach with the ability to understand brand needs, create meaningful
- A strong client database, preferably within the Beauty industry and across media agencies, with wider FMCG contacts a plus.
