Develop an understanding for the specific mechanical engineering requirements per project Study and become familiar with the elementary system drawings Provide technical interface with customer's project representative(s)



Project scope definitions 3D model reviews Equipment and/or installation issues Contract and execute mechanical change orders Mentor and navigate issues with less experienced Project Engineers Develop, maintain, and assist with creating a mechanical engineering schedule that provides timely delivery of material to fully support an installation schedule. Provide extensive technical support for Project Engineers, vendors, field installation personnel, and engineering sub-contractors as related to inquiries Release drawings for installation and fabrication Communicate status updates to engineering management on a regular cadence Check drawings provided by mechanical designers for accuracy and provide feedback for corrections as needed. Perform or assist in directing engineering analysis as determined by project needs in disciplines including structural, mechanical power transmission and fluid power. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Efficient in a schedule driven environment Complete detail-oriented work producing well above average results Good interpersonal skills Excellent time management skills Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and process improvements at once Experience with Microsoft Office, such as Outlook and Excel are required Familiar with AutoCAD and Inventor, Navisworks, and BIM is a plus Experience with power transmission equipment and steel fabrication is a plus Education and Experience:

Six to ten years of material handling equipment experience preferably within the conveyor systems industry Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering and design Travel Requirements:

Some domestic travel required +/- 10%.
Depends on project needs and urgency
