**Channel Marketing Manager Latin America - Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean**
**The role**:
The Channel Marketing Manager Latin America reports to the Latin America Marketing Leader and is responsible for planning and activating marketing programs with AMD's Channel & Ecosystem Partners across AMD's key verticals in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
**The person**:
The Channel Marketing Manager Latin America should have a willingness and ability to jump in, take the lead, learn, and encourage others.
They will manage a team of expert marketers in the region and work as a business partner with AMD Sales and Corporate Teams.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Act as the lead marketing contact for AMD Sales and Corporate Teams for business planning, marketing program development, and execution.
- Lead the marketing program development and execution for AMD's key verticals spanning Consumer, Commercial, Components, and Gaming product segments.
- Own and handle the budget and allocation for partner MDF programs within Mexico, Central America,
and the Caribbean.
- Develop and implement regional and corporate marketing programs in coordination with the Sales and Corporate Marketing teams.
- Educate partners and vendors on AMD marketing programs and brand guidelines.
- Supervise program performance and work with sales and product teams to share performance metrics, define upcoming programs and identify key issues/opportunities.
- Quantify and present program results to AMD Americas Leadership for efficiency, recommendations, and long-range planning.
- Take a proactive and positive approach in seeking ways to improve all aspects of our marketing activities
**Preferred experience**:
- Professional with 5+ years relevant work experience in the Semi-conductor, hi-tech product, or IT marketing
- Outstanding communication skills with a full professional proficiency of English and Spanish language, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
- Experience in Channel Marketing and Sales Enablement programs
- Confident user of Microsoft Office Suite with a high level of proficiency in PowerPoint
- Project management experience working directly with cross-functional teams and multiple partners
- Outstanding time management skills, interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
**Academic credentials**:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- MBA preferred
