**SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/ENGINEER****Responsibilities**:Join a team of 120+ people working in (Phoenix, Arizona) using Agile and Kanban software development methodologies for a large US insurance company.
Key daily tasks and responsibilities include:- Co-design and develop software to support roll out of next-gen insurance products- Individual contributor for end-to-end software development process for platforms organized using Agile Methodology (SAFe)- Collaborate in a cross-functional teams to develop, test and integrate.- Develop software that will integrate with various external databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Developer, Cassandra DB, AWS DynamoDB- Analyze user requirements,
translate business requirements into technical documents defining the software solution- Compile documentation as required by QA and SOPs throughout all phases of the SDLC and upgrades- Implementing automated JUnit tests scripts- Develop and utilize industry best practice data and object models and protocols for platform-wide communication and data processing and storage- Design algorithms for efficient use of computer, memory, and networking resources- Work with our Software Architect, Java/ETL Developers, and Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure that features are delivered on time- Review automation tests scripts and ensure compliance across QA teams with emphasis in using industry best practices when using EIS Suite platform- Challenge conventional software delivery norms to continue to drive and improve upon Agile and Kanban best practices- Enhance the core platform to support emergent digital technologies- Be responsible for the writing and maintain flawless Selenium WebDriver scripts for regression and functional testing using data driven framework- Develop test code in Java language using Intellij,
IDE and TestNG framework.- Work on the Android module of the project, automating the app using Appium with Python- Use Postman for manual testing of REST API functionality for feature work and fixes on production defects- Implement Python scripting for automated testing of REST API functionality for regression setup
