**Title**: Territory Customer Support Manager
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León Industrias JD-Monterrey Branch
**Function**: Marketing / Sales
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Develops and achieves marketing goals and objectives in a large defined geographic area by developing the channel partners, promoting products and services offered by the Company and managing Company assets.
Depending on the complexity of the territory, may work with an extraordinary/difficult sales network due to one or more of the following conditions: (1) number of dealers/customers/channel partners; (2) selling directly to customers (3) lack of Strategic Business Unit (SBU) support in the areas of parts, service, or dealer development leading to independent decision making; (4) facing emerging markets with political instability; (5) multi-cultural or diverse business; (6) scope and scale of business opportunity, and (7) breadth of product lines for which the Territory Manager has responsibility in the market.
**What Skills You Need**:
- Recruits and develops channel partners.
- Promotes sale of products and services to channel partners and end users and is ultimately accountable for meeting sales goals and market share goals.
- Manages company assets to maximize return.
- Monitors channel partner performance and replaces or upgrades low
- performing channel partners.
- Manages the contractual relationship, serves as a liaison and resolves issues between the channel partner and the Company.
- Counsels channel partners on product, marketing, financial and/or management-related matters.
- Delivers training to channel partners, Company employees, or customers.
- Works with other divisions to maintain a good working relationship between channel partners and the Company to maximize enterprise objectives.
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- Knowledge of dealers and other channels.
- Willing to travel into difficult environments and/or for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of dealers/merchants/alliance partners, finance programs and products.
- Knowledge of heavy machinery dealer business practices, ideally including the practices followed at John Deere dealerships.
- Broad based business, sales and marketing skills.
**Education**:
- Bachelor´s degree related to Aftermarket, field knowledge, engineering, process improvement, precision AG and machinery.
