Morgan Payments Business Transformation, Project Manager - Vice President**
J.P. Morgan Payments Business Transformation is a strategic and execution-focused group.
Payments sits at the intersection of finance and technology in an industry undergoing a major transformation.
Business Transformation supports the business on a project basis, where projects are team-based and include regular interaction with J.P. Morgan Payments executives.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Work with business leaders to design and agree on future objectives and ensure prioritization;
- Drive ownership and shepherd execution of key initiatives;
- Ensure alignment and coordination across various teams, including Sales
We are seeking a Vice President to join the group and help define business growth strategies for the Payments organization.
**Specific capabilities required for the position include**:
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to work with colleagues at all levels as a peer and achieve goals without direct control over resources
- Comfortable handling complex projects and working effectively with cross-LOB stakeholders
- Strong end-to-end problem solving skills, e.g.,
- Define, frame and deconstruct large, business-wide problems
- Prioritize issues, analysis and team capacity
- Structure and build quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analyses
- Perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
- Identify implications and drive to major decisions with solid rationale
- Articulate and concise communication skills, with experience speaking to executives
**Qualifications**
- 7+ years management consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy experience
- Payments experience preferred; wholesale banking and B2B payments background is a plus
- Track record of managing work teams with high marks on mentorship and coaching
- Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and confidently (oral and written)
- Distinctive problem solving skills; able to break down and structure complex problems
- Ability to influence across business lines, cultures, functions; drive results without direct control
- Strong project and process management skills
- Open to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
- Excellent command of MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiar w
