[YKJ762] Head Of Producibility Engineering

.This role involves overseeing the Producibility department to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals, while enhancing team capabilities through performance management and continuous improvement.
It requires close collaboration with Procurement and Quality teams to support component qualification, resolve non-conformities, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Additional responsibilities include approving product designs, managing operational efficiency, and ensuring effective cost center administration.How You'll Make an ImpactYou will be accountable to the Head of Core Engineering for delivery of work that meets the Cost,



Quality and Delivery expectations of the business.You will develop and maintain the required level of capability (people, methods, tools, and technology) within the Producibility department through performance management and improvement initiatives.You will closely collaborate with Procurement and Quality functions to provide the engineering support required to achieve component manufacturing qualification at external component manufacturers.You will work closely with Procurement and Quality functions to identify opportunities at external component manufacturers to improve attributes of the product through changes to the manufacturing methods used to achieve finished parts.You will work with the Quality function to assess and sentence non-conforming hardware.You will work towards becoming a Product Development Process reviewer, approving designs created by the department.You will be responsible for the operational effectiveness, staff administration and cost center management of the group, including short interval control,



metrics and process improvement.What You BringBachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering.A consistent track record of leading either teams or projects.10+ years of proven experience in gas turbine component engineering, with deep knowledge of at least one discipline and broad knowledge of the field.Experience of working in or leading internationally dispersed project teams, including management of intellectual property and export control compliance.Experience of working with manufacturing to reduce cost through design activity.You are able to communicate and exchange ideas effectively and concisely in English.About the TeamIn our Business Unit Industrial Applications we offer comprehensive digital portfolio solutions in the oil and gas sector and other process industries comprising rotating equipment,
