**Organization Overview**
HIP Latinoamerica, A.C. (HIP) is a transnational network of grantmakers committed to strengthening Latinx communities across the Americas. HIP connects and convenes funders, nonprofits, researchers, and other leaders to identify emerging needs among Latinos as well as best practices for responsive and effective funding of social change. HIP pioneers new philanthropic models by leading collaborative initiatives and has provided grants and training to help build the capacity of more than 800 organizations and leaders.
**Position Summary**
The Digital Content Coordinator will support the Communications team in the creation, design, and execution of digital assets and communications at HIP.
The person in this role will be exposed to all facets of HIP’s Communications work & should be proactive, creative, and collaborative. This position reports to the Director of Digital Strategy and Partnerships.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain digital and written content for HIP programmatic teams and digital platforms, optimizing high traffic pages and platforms, and implementing changing technologies effectively;
- Manage content calendar including posting and monitoring daily engagement on social pages and platforms, and analyzing and reporting on insights and opportunities;
- Create and distribute HIP newsletters within the guidelines of the HIP brand;
- Identify content needs and work with the Director of Digital Strategy and Partnerships to design, acquire, and organize new digital, photography, and video assets;
- Manage website development projects and support the Senior Technology Manager;
- Edit and approve website calendar submissions.
Seek out information on events to ensure the calendar lists all upcoming events and engage programmatic teams in the content creation process;
- Stay current on marketing best practices and industry trends, which may require attending educational conferences or training; and
- Support the Communications team with additional tasks, as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Interest in HIP's mission, Latinx issues, and philanthropy;
- Strong storyteller;
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong troubleshooting and organizational skills;
- Good sense of humor and comfortable working in remote team environments;
- Creative with an eye for detail and outside the box thinker;
- Fluent in English & Spanish and proficient writer in both languages;
- Photography and video editing skills are preferred;
- Experience managing a CRM and CMS is a plus; and
- Knowledge of HTML is a plus;
**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
This position requires 7+ hours per day sitting and working from your computer. This position is a remote position in the U.S. or in Mexico City, MX. Some travel will be required. Employees are required to comply with health and safety measures consistent with CDC guidelines, and federal, state, and local regulations.

**Salary**: $35,520.00 - $45,520.00 per month
