**Senior Quality Engineer **with Experience in different manufacturing processes such asAssembly, Injection Molding,
Incoming Inspection, Quality Systems, etc.
for our high-volume Matamoros, Mexico Glassplant.

The Quality Engineer Senior will use quality engineering tools and practices for the effective and efficient development of transfers and the maintenance of products/processes in the complete life cycle of the product.
- Represents and supports the Quality discipline as a member of the New Product Development Team.
- Acts as the Customer Quality Engineer and is the "Voice of the customer" for both internal and external customers, assuring that new product development activities are responsive to defining and meeting the customer's requirements.
- Achieves manufacturing process capabilities to ensure conformance to company goals to both internal and external quality costs.
- Train and mentors Quality Engineers in Quality methods and systems.
- Define the Inspection and testing mechanisms required by the different production cycle processes.
- Support the Production Team in any decision/action required in regards of the Quality of the Product.
- Lead the Multifunctional Team on the Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Process on RGA's and DMR's.
- Continuous monitoring of the entire production cycle and design/implement new controls to correct/prevent any no conformance as part of the Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions Process and to assure Built In Quality.
- Actively participate in the implementation/improvement of the Quality Management System.
- Actively support Engineering on the introduction of new products.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- 5 years of experience in the same position.
- Mechanical Engineer or similar Bachelor's Degree, and preferably with a post graduated degree as Project Management
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Experience in quality
- Excellent written and communication Skills (English/Spanish)
- Agile Methods Experience proven in previous projects
- Profound Depth of Knowledge in product quality, and quality gates
- Large Breadth of Knowledge within Engineering Development and Product
- Highly Oriented to Team Collaboration and Cooperation
- Strong Result Orientation
- Constant User/Customer Focus
