Sr. App. Dev. Analyst IT - Oracle EBS (Finance) is a technical expert in finance modules such as
** Oracle EBS Modules.**
Sr. App. Dev. Analyst will work on multiple projects in Oracle R12 version with focus in the domain of EBS Finance modules. This position might also work on cross-functional modules in the EBS environment such as Quote to Order (Q2O), Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) with possible integration of third-party systems. Internally, this role will report to Gates ERP Technical Services lead in US.
**Responsibilities**:
- Production support (Primarily Technical) of Oracle R12 Finance and other related modules.
- Provides technical support to resolve Finance related issues.
Submits and follow up on service requests to Oracle.
- Supports the development activities for process improvement initiatives. Provides programming of custom code and migrates the solutions to production. Participates in testing/validation activities.
- Creates Technical and Functional documentations related to any development activities. Examples include BR100 and technical design documents for custom objects.
- Conduct gap-analysis and work with business team and functional architects to enhance AP, AR, GL, PA, SLA, and FA modules.
- Support the implementation of solutions through a formal process including requirements gathering and definition, gap analysis, design, development, configuration, project planning, testing and deployment.
- Manage and support L1 & L2 level production support along with code migration of fixes and enhancements.
- Manages the techno-functional documentation related to Oracle Finance Applications. Ensures that the documentation is up to date.

This position will play the role of individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities. Collaborates with a team of techno-functional resources onsite and offshore ensure a stable operating system environment and timely execution of assigned projects.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate in Business, Finance or Computer Science. Master's degree is desirable.
- At least 5 years of direct experience with Oracle EBS R12 Financial module viz., (AP, AR, GL, FA, PA and iProcurement)

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:
- Strong technical knowledge in Oracle EBS modules like AP, AR, GL, FA modules and must have a cross functional knowledge in OM and INV modules.
- Good Knowledge functional flow of Oracle Applications modules such as Account Payables, Account Receivables, EB-Tax, Purchasing, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Order Management.
- Inbound Interfaces for e.g. (AP Invoice, GL Interface, AR Invoice etc.)
and having knowledge of Apex and Java would add to the advantage
- should be expert in Workflow or OAF Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills Should have very good documentation skills
- Must have extensive experience in the following areas of Oracle EBS Technologies - Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, SQL loader, Oracle Applications API's, Database concepts, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripts and Oracle Database Upgrades.
- Expertise in developing the reports using Report Builder, Discoverer and XML Publisher.
- Ability to interact with cross functional team from planning, commercial and IT.
- Adept knowledge of the underlying Oracle schema, integration points, data conversion and technology processes.
- Strong development experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Triggers, Procedures, API, Interfaces, RICE Components.
- Experience with Oracle Implementation Methodology, Business Process Engineering, and similar ERP implementation methodologies.
- Must have strong understanding of Oracle R12 - Inventory, BOM, WIP, Purchasing and Order Management etc.
- Must have written functional and technical specifications for interfaces to Finance modules
- Must understand the data flow and table structures in Finance Modules
- Must have at least 2 years of industry experience in Oracle Finance Modules implementations
- Superior process documentation and training skills.
- Exposure and knowledge in project management methodologies.
- Ability to work in a matrix management environment with various objectives and priorities
