**JOB SUMMARY**
The Director of Talent Acquisition Strategies & Solutions will work closely with the Area Director of Human Resources (Mexico & MSB) and other members of the TA COE to evaluate the current use of talent acquisition processes and tools, analyze metrics and qualitative data to monitor performance and compliance, generate and refine TA metrics and support the implementation of process improvements.
This position will also support the development and launch of new programs and technology to meet the organization’s talent acquisition needs. This role will foster relationships with key universities as well as other community-based organizations to attract top talent to Marriott hotels in Mexico.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or Human Resources Management) preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR-related role (e.g., talent acquisition, recruitment, HR data analytics, HR consulting).
- Experience with talent acquisition required and sourcing expertise preferred (LinkedIn, social media, etc.)
- Knowledge or experience in recruitment processing outsourcing (RPO) preferred.
- Experience with developing relationships with key university and community-based organizations.
- Experience in planning and coordinating small to mid-sized projects.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Demonstrated technology skills in MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Current with Talent Acquisition and Mexico employment practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation development and delivery skills.
- Strong analytical skills: can quickly analyze situations and clearly articulate what needs to be done.
- Ability to generate reports and provide insightful analysis on TA related processes and programs.
- Demonstrated experience interacting effectively as a consultant team member with all levels of associates.

**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure attraction of diverse talent
- Analyze data and labor trends to develop insight into critical talent segments and uses it to create attraction and engagement strategies that build pipeline for the future
- Introduces a formal and regular cadence of communication to share external market trends to support HR in planning for and driving talent acquisition decisions
- Supports the design, development and launch of new TA programs, tools and solutions to meet specific talent needs, in partnership with other HR functions and external vendors as needed.
- Generates and tracks TA reports on both a scheduled and ad hoc basis to support internal TA as well as Market needs.
- Evaluates the use and business impact of existing talent acquisition strategies, programs and solutions by reviewing and analyzing talent acquisition metrics, stakeholder feedback and other data points. Identifies trends based on quantitative and qualitative data to determine improvement areas, provide follow up for issue resolution.
- Supports the enhancements of talent acquisition policies and processes that comply with legal requirements and support the business objectives.
- Act as a Business Partner with the Area Director of HR (Mexico & MSB) & key stakeholders to identify needs, gaps (current and future), opportunities and improvements and work towards bridging them through the proactive talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies
- Help actively drive existing sourcing channels and identify new sourcing channels to support the various talent needs of the area
- Foster relationships with key universities as well as other community-based organizations to attract top talent to Marriott hotels in Mexico
- Monitors internal and external trends and best practices in talent acquisition; benchmarks best practices in and outside
