This position will be critical to planned growth of pistachio category as Wonderful Pistachios redoubles its efforts to promote healthy snack options for the Mexico consumer.As a result of rapid growth, our Mexico business is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead our operations and logistics team.
The Logistics Manager will manage a team of two and plan, organize, and monitor processes as well as improve processes to increase profitability and deliver results for our customers.
This role will manage all Logistics needs to ensure our supply chain is efficient and effective.
**Job Description**:**Warehouse Operations**:- Manage overall day-to-day operations of multiple Warehouse locations including freight, returns receiving and achieving inventory metrics.- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external partners regarding transportation; including analysis and information regarding the industry and/or government (foreign and domestic) policies and regulations that may affect the company- Oversee the execution of food labeling and storage compliance per NOM requirements.- Supervise warehouse execution in ships in and outs, personnel and stickering performance.- Be a GS1 registration expert and have knowledge of registering new items.
**Logistics**:- Oversee freight forwarder and international transportation (ocean, air, and over-the-road) service provider management- Optimize transportation methods for efficiency, reliability, and cost- Maintain working knowledge of Import/Export compliance procedures- Manage key third party relationships with warehouse, transportation and customs providers
