Our Branch Regulatory Reporting Manager role combines data management and analysis to create our regulatory reports.
You'll be compiling, reviewing, and managing all types of regulatory reports for our branch network, so there's always something to learn.
We have our own in-house framework for reporting, and guess who we want to help develop it even further?

What you'll be doingProducing and reviewing regulatory reports on our branches, including statistical returns and other local regulatory requirements prior to submissionSupporting in the branch launch, defining and implementing the submission process for necessary regulatory reportsAssessing, developing, and maintaining proper controls, robust documentation, and change management approaches for reporting areas (automated and manual)Communicating issues with appropriate data ownersMonitoring issues to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions are achievedStaying current on new and evolving regulatory reporting requirements, assessing impact,
and ensuring compliance for accurate reportingWorking closely to ensure accurate reporting and decision support is consistent in all future regulatory applicationsReviewing and responding to regulatory inquiriesWhat you'll needEither 8+ years of experience working in a reporting function for a bank (or similar regulated entity), or 4+ years of experience as a consultant in a Big 4 (or similar environment) in regulatory reportingExcellent analytical and numerical skillsThe ability to make sense of regulations and develop processes and frameworks to compile new reports and enhance existing onesTo be a self-starter and independent workerTo be highly self-motivatedGreat organisation skills to plan and deliver to tight deadlines with close attention to detailSolid data analysis skillsExperience working with financial regulatorsNice to haveProficiency in SQLExpertise working with IFRS accounting standardsKnowledge of software or IT platform change initiatives (Reportware, Adenza, etc.
