Job Schedule: Full-Time & On-site: This is an on-site role with flexibility.
This position requires in-office attendance five days per week. Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

We are seeking an entry-level Electrical Test Engineer to join our Farmington Hills, MI team.
The Electronics Reliability Test department validates automotive electrical and electronic components and systems, including the Body Control Module, Instrument Cluster, Intelligent Key System, Airbag Control Unit, CAN, and Power Distribution Module.
The department engages in vehicle development's digital and physical phases to ensure a high-quality and timely vehicle launch.
A Day in the Life: Perform body electronics test and validation activities at the vehicle, system, and component levels.
Plan, execute, and report validation activities to meet program milestones.
Analyze test result accuracy and make judgments based on Nissan standards and requirements.
Identify issues on tested components and collaborate with responsible engineers/groups to create countermeasures and resolve issues before the due date.
Coordinate testing with Electrical Test Technicians and other groups.
Who We're Looking For: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Understanding of automotive electrical architectures and communication protocols.
Superior project planning skills and attention to detail.
Solid knowledge of electronics principles and ability to read electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
Familiarity with various test lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, dataloggers, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, Vector CAN tools, and other PC-based diagnostic tools.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems/components or willingness to learn.
Familiarity with standard analysis tools (FMEA, FTA, etc.)
and electronic circuit analysis.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment.
Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 0 to 2 years of directly related professional-level engineering experience.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
Physical Requirements: Travel: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Up to 15% of domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Candidate must be able to travel to Japan 1 time per year and to regional sites (AZ, TN, MS, Mexico) on occasion.
Overtime: Willingness to work overtime as necessary to complete the job.
