**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**
Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and drive growth in the rapidly expanding hummus market? The role involves spearheading the development of financial and business strategy for the Obela Business Unit within JV Obela Mexico. This encompasses financial reporting, budget management, sales finance, controllership, and compliance agenda. The position provides analytical and strategic guidance to diagnose and resolve performance management issues, improve understanding of total BU economics, and facilitate development of short-term and long-term performance targets to meet business objectives. Additionally, the role involves generating insightful financial analysis to support business decisions and providing planning and budget management support to Sales & Distribution and Advertising & Marketing investment.
The General Manager is also responsible for controllership, including accounting, internal control environment, compliance agenda, financial reporting processes, and providing financial reporting packages for local and HQ instances.

**Your Impact**
**As Obela General Manager, your scope would consist of**:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability in the hummus market.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal partners.
- Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the planning process across the BU to generate the Annual Operating Plan
- Analyze and report BU Forecast P&L;, cost and overall financial performance to propose action plans to enhance performance
- Enable BU S&OP; process to ensure alignment between financial, operation & demand plans
- Ensure Financial Reporting Process and provide closure analysis identifying P&L; main drivers and their impacts in balance of year forecast
- Ensure an effective analysis and visibility of BU results focused on internal and external performance
- Provide relevant and timely financial information that enables the decision making process
- Partner with Commercial, Operation and Marketing Areas to analyze portfolio performance and evaluate financial impact of business initiatives
- P&L; Performance Management (tradeoffs, gap closing, measures)
- Lead the development of the long
- and short-term strategies for Obela Mexico
- Generate, coordinate & execute Strat Plan in the BU ensuring strategies & initiatives alignment with company objectives
- Prioritize resources to deliver strategic commitments
- Develop BU pricing strategy together with HQ and Commercial teams.
- Ensure compliance agenda for accounting norms, P&P; SABRA/PepsiCo and regulatory requirements
- Ensure timely and accuracy closing and reporting process (including P&L;, BS and OCF)
- Develop and ensure Sales Strategy as enabler to support business growth (basic procedures, reports, KPIs, best practices, be a key partner)
- Develop Revenue management strategy in conjunction with Revenue Management team
- Support Portfolio transformation (I)
Qualifications:
**Who Are We Looking For?**
- + 10 years of experience in Finance, Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Financial Reporting roles both internally and externally.
- Education: Economics, Engineering, Finance, Accountant (MBA preferred), Marketing
